If you are familiar with Aspen, you know there is a constant ebb and flow of businesses each season.  Here are some of the biggest changes that have taken place on the restaurant scene in the past few months.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

After 36 years in Aspen, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory closed their doors on the March 24th.   Starbucks will take over the space.  Starbucks closed their Gondola Plaza location in the Fall and has been looking for a spot since. Read the full article here.

Peaches Corner Café

Peaches closed their doors in the fall and has been replaced by Aspen Tap, the tasting room for local brewer, Aspen Brewing Company.  Aspen Tap serves small bites, and of course has all their beers on tap.

Upper Crust

The husband wife duo of Bangkok Bowl opened Tiki Mana Grill, a Hawaiian inspired grill, taking over the Upper Crust space, formally their neighbor.   Bangkok Bowl made changes to their existing space adding a sushi bar.

Little Annie’s

Just in time for summer, Clark’s Oyster Bar will open in Little Annie’s spot, read more about Clark’s Oyster Bar.
